The Path -Monitoring Law (TSCA) and section 6 (h))

  • TSca: An American law issued in 1976 to regulate the introduction of new or existing chemicals.
  • Managed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
  • TSCA does not classify chemicals into toxic and non -toxic but prohibits the manufacture or import of chemicals that are not in TSca or subject to exemptions.

Section 6 (h- Fixed, biological and toxic chemicals (PBT)

  • Section 6 (6 (h) Via Lauteenberg Law of Chemical Safety of the Law of the twenty -first century in 2016.
  • It focuses on the chemicals PBT: which remains in the environment, accumulates alive in the tissues of the body, and has the ability to cause long -term harmful effects.
  • The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has requested quick measures to regulate these chemicals and address their risks.
