RoHS applies to the following categories of EEE:
- Small Household Appliances
- IT and telecommunications equipment
- Consumer Equipment
- lighting equipment
- Electrical and electronic tools
- Toys, leisure and sports equipment
- Medical devices
- monitoring and control instruments, including industrial monitoring and control instruments
- Automatic dispensers
- Other EEE not covered by the above categories
All products with electrical and electronic components must comply with these restrictions, unless they are specifically exempted.
Products affected by the RoHS Directive must bear the CE mark in order to comply with the RoHS obligations.
