pops (POPs) They are organic substances that remain in the environment, accumulate in living organisms, and pose risks to human health and the environment. These materials can be transported across international borders via air, water or migratory species, all the way to areas where they have never been produced or used. There are four lists of regulated materials under   :P OPs

  • Appendix IV: POPs which are subject to special waste management measures.
