Formaldehyde restriction according to the chemical ban regulation (chemverbotsv)

Formaldehyde is subject to special restrictions in accordance with the chemical ban regulation and beyond the restrictions in accordance with Annex XVII of the REACH regulation:

1. Coated and uncoated wood -based materials (chipboard, carpenter plates, veneer and fiber slabs) must not be placed on the market if the equilibrium concentration caused by the wood material on formaldehyde in the air exceeds 0.1 ml/cbm (ppm).
2. Furniture that contains wood materials that do not meet the requirements of paragraph 1 must not be placed on the market. Paragraph 1, however, is also considered fulfilled if the furniture complies with the compensation concentration mentioned in paragraph 1.
3. Washing, cleaning and care products with a mass content of more than 0.2 % formaldehyde must not be placed on the market.
4. The prohibition according to paragraph 1 does not apply to sheets that are placed exclusively for the purpose of a suitable coating on the market, provided that you ensure that you comply with the remuneration concentration mentioned in paragraph 1.
5. The ban according to paragraph 3 does not apply to cleaners in the exclusively commercial use.
