Çin RoHS

The Chinese government has created regulations to address environmental pollution caused by the disposal of electronic products, to promote resource use, to promote environmentally friendly consumption and to protect public health. What is the current status of China RoHS2 application?

  • March 1, 2007: Measures regarding the control of pollution arising from electronic information products were published on 28 February 2006 and entered into force.
  • 16 July 2010: The regulations on the control of pollution caused by electric and electronic products were presented to the public opinion.
  • July 2016: Decree No. 39 on the restriction of dangerous substance use in electronic products was published
  • March 2018: Catalog and Exemption List on Eee Products for limited use of harmful substances were prepared
  • May 16, 2019: State Institutions established the conformity assessment system for dangerous substances in electric and electronic products
  • November 1, 2019: The products listed in the catalog are limited to the limited use of dangerous substances in EEE.

"Electrical and Electronic Products" are devices and accessories that work, transmit or measure such currents or areas using electric current or electromagnetic fields up to 1500V DC and 1000V AC with nominal working voltage. This definition does not cover energy production, transmission and distribution equipment.

China does not contain ROHS batteries when it contains EU ROHS.

China ROHS2 has a two -step process to limit the use of six dangerous substances.

Categories of Electric and Electronic Equipment Exempted from the restrictions on the use of dangerous substances within the scope of China ROHS2:

  • Equipment for electricity generation, transmission and distribution
  • Military electric and electronic equipment
  • Equipment designed for private or extraordinary conditions
  • Electric and Electronic Equipment for Exports
  • Electric and electronic products that are temporarily imported or maintained
  • Prototypes used for research and development
  • Exhibitions exhibited, non -sale samples and products.

Something that is compatible in Chinarohs is not necessary to be compatible with EU Rohs, and this is an error.

China Rohs 1st My name:

Within the scope of China ROHS2, there is no requirement for changing or limiting toxic substances in electric and electronic products. As of July 1, 2016, manufacturers will have to label dangerous substances in their products.

Currently, all products subject to regulation must comply with the first step of the China RoHS2, which includes appropriate labeling to help consumers and recycling factories to define information about restricted materials.

Environmentally Friendly Use Period (EFUP)

  • EFUP refers to the period expressed as the year, in which the toxic and dangerous substances or elements contained in an EIP remain stable under normal working conditions without damaging pollution or human life or the environment.
  • Manufacturers are responsible for selecting an environmentally friendly usage period (EFUP) number that will be compatible with "China Rohs". This number is usually based on factors such as chemical release potential from the product as well as the expected usage life and repair of the product.
  • EFP, expected service life, time between production and service, and repair or renewal, if possible possible extended service life is calculated by collecting.
  • The start date of the environmental -friendly use period can be specified by the "production date" on the product.
  • Efups under 10 years or equal to it must have a integer between 1 and 10. Efups greater than 10 years should be multiple of 5. If the efup is not solid, it should be rolled on the nearest floors. 5. For example, a 18 -year -old efup should be rolled to 15 years.

China Rohs Table

Producers and importers should determine and mark the environmental protection usage time (measured as a year) of a product that exceeds the limits of the concentration of certain hazardous substances. Production date should also be specified. In addition, they must specify the names and contents of dangerous substances in product instructions and mark them on the parts using the specified table. However, dangerous substance information does not need to be located on the product.

China Rohs 2ndness My name:

  • The products listed in the Compatibility Management Catalog should comply with relevant standards -based material restriction limits and compatibility shall be evaluated using the conformity assessment scheme.
  • As of November 1, 2019, manufacturers need to receive voluntary certificates and make a compliance statement to be compatible with China Rohs2.

Compatibility management catalog consists of 12 different product species.

  1. refrigerators
  2. Air conditioners
  3. Washing machines
  4. Electric water heaters
  5. Printers
  6. Photocopy machines
  7. Fax devices
  8. Television
  9. Monitors
  10. Microcomputers
  11. Mobile Communication Hands
  12. Phones

China ROHS 3rd My name:

Suppliers have two options to show the compliance with the requirements of the pollutant material limit for E & E products:

  1. Provide a test report from a qualified laboratory
  2. Create a compliance report based on pollutant detection for all components, parts and raw materials. The supplier is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness and consistency of the self -declaration and the relevant technical documents.

Platform user or applicant must be registered in China and EU -based companies cannot apply for self -declaration.

Self -declaration

This is related to a kind of conformity assessment in which the supplier uses an independent method to carry out conformity assessment (producer, authorized representative, etc.) and provides information confirming that electric and electronic products supplied meet the requirements. Related standards and technical requirements for limiting the use of harmful substances.

State Supported Volunteer Certification

This refers to a certification process in which electrical and electronic products meet the appropriate standards and technical requirements to limit the use of harmful substances, including third -party certification organizations, which can be voluntarily assumed. This process is uniform and regulated by the state.

The logo must be located on the product and can also be added to the packaging. Adding the label to the packaging can facilitate the confirmation of customs.

  • If the size of the product is greater than 5mm x 5mm, the logo must be placed on the product.
  • In very small products, which are less than 5mm x 5mm, the logo can only be placed on the packaging. However, in both cases, the logo should be included in the product guide, whether on the product or on the packaging.
