The Chinese government has developed regulations to tackle environmental pollution as a result of the settlement of electronic products, encouraged the use of resources, encouraged environment-friendly and protect public health, what is the current state of implementation of ROHS2?
- March 1, 2007: Pollution control system from electronic data products goes into effect on February 28, 2006.
- July 16, 2010: Pollution control rules from electrical and electronic products were provided for public comments.
- July 2016: Decree No. 39 was issued to restrict the use of dangerous substances in electronic products
- March 2018: EEE products were prepared in the limited use catalog and exemption list in EEE products
- May 16, 2019: Government agencies have established consistency evaluation measures for dangerous substances in electrical and electronic products
- November 1, 2019: Products listed in the catalog are limited to dangerous substances contained in EEE products that are entering the market or imported the implementation system.
"Electrical and Electronic Products" is a device and accessories that work with electrical current or electromagnetic field with 1500V DC and 1000V AC work with rated working voltage, or which produce, transmit or measure these national currents or fields. This definition does not include power generation, transmission and distribution equipment.
China does not raohs the ROHS battery when EU rohs.
China ROHS2 has a bi-footage process to restrict the use of six dangerous substances.

Categories of Electric and Electronic Equipment Electric and Electronic Equipment from Restrictions Use of Dangerous substances under China ROHS2:
- Equipment for generating, circulating and distribution
- Electric and electronic equipment
- Tools designed for special or extreme situations
- Electric and electronic equipment
- Electrical and Electronic Products
- Research and development
- Sample and products displayed in the exhibition, not for sale.
There is no need to comply in the EU ROEHS to adhere to something in ChinaROHS and this is a misconception.
China Rohs 1st Step:
There is no need for the replacement or constraint of toxic substances in electrical and electronic products under China Rohs2. From July 1, 2016, manufacturers must give labels of dangerous substances on their products.
Currently, all controlled products must adhere to one step of the China RoHS2, in which the information about limited substances is involved to help consumers and provide proper labeling to the recycling factories.

ENFUP (EFUP)
- EFUP refers to the period that is expressed in the year, where the toxic and dangerous substances or elements in an Eip are stable in normal management situations without polluting or damaging the life or environment of the human being.
- Manufacturers are responsible for choosing an environment-friendly use period (EFUP) number to comply with "China Rohs". This number is based on factors such as the expected life expectancy of the product and the reprint of the product, as well as the possibility of chemical release from the product.
- EFUP is calculated by adding potential extended service life if the time and repair or renovation of the expected service life, production and services can be made.
- The start date of the environment-friendly use period may be indicated by the "Creating Date" marked in the product.
- Should be a full number between 1 and 10 in less than 10 years or equal to EFUP. EFUPs over 10 should be multiplied by 5. If the EFUP 5 is not multiplied, it should be fulfilled in its nearest multiplication. 5. For example, an efup of 18 years should be rounded in 15 years.
China rohs table
Manufacturers and importers must determine and identify the duration of the use of environmental protection for a product that exceeds the concentration of certain dangerous substances. The date of production must also be mentioned. Their product will have to provide the names and contents of dangerous substances in the instructions and identify the parts using the specified table. However, dangerous substance data product does not need to be identified itself.

China Rohs 2nd Step:
- The product listed in the Compliance Management Catalog must adhere to the limits of the substance based on the relevant values and their consent will be evaluated using the adjustment evaluation scheme.
- From November 1, 2019, manufacturers must receive voluntary certificates and adhere to China ROHS2 for their products.
There are 12 different types of products in the Compliance Management Catal.
- Refrigerator
- Air -control
- Cleaner
- Electric water heater
- Printer
- Copier
- Fax machine
- Television
- Monitor
- Microcomputer
- Mobile contact handset
- Telephone
China Rohs 3rd Step:
To show consent with the polluting limit requirements for E& E products, there are two options for the suppliers:
- Provide a test report from a qualified laboratory
- Create a compatible report based on the pollutant determining for all components, parts and raw materials. The supplier is responsible to ensure the accuracy, completeness and continuity of self-decoration and related technical documents
The platform user or applicant must be registered in China and EU-based companies are not eligible to apply for self-decoration.

Self declaration
It is a type of consistency that is related to the evaluation of the supplier (which may be the manufacturer, authorized representative, etc.) employed independently to manage the consistency and submit information that verifies that the supply of electrical and electronic products to restrict the use of harmful substances and technical requirements.
State-developed voluntary certificate
It refers to a certificate process that can choose to voluntarily accept the business, in which third -party certification agencies verify that electric and electronic products meet the appropriate values and technical requirements to limit the use of harmful substances. This process is supervised and controlled by the state in a uniform manner.

Logo is required to be placed in the product and can also be added to the packaging. Adding labels to packaging can make it easier for customs to ensure consent.
- If the size of the product is larger than 5 mm by 5 mm, then the logo on the product should be placed.
- For very small products with less than 5 mm x 5 mm, the logo can only be placed in the packaging. However, in both cases, whether the logo is in the product or packaging, the product's manual should include identification information.
